Grove City, OH – Due to the smoke from the Canadian wildfires, air quality in the Central Ohio area was at unsafe levels on July 17, causing the cancellation of the first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 2-year-old filly pacers at Eldorado Scioto Downs that night.
The first leg of the BSS for freshman filly pacers has been rescheduled for Thursday (July 23) at Scioto Downs.
Due to the rescheduling, the dates of the legs have changed. The updated schedules for the Ohio Sires Stakes and Buckeye Stallion Series for 2-year-old filly pacers are below. Please remember that if you enter a certain leg number of the OSS, you are not eligible to enter that same leg number of the BSS.
• Leg 1: OSS (Monday, July 13), BSS (Thursday, July 23)
• Leg 2: OSS (Friday, July 24), BSS (Monday, Aug. 10)
• Leg 3: OSS (Saturday, Aug. 8), BSS (Monday, Aug. 17)
• Leg 4: OSS (Tuesday, Aug. 18), BSS (Thursday, Sept. 3)
• Leg 5: OSS (Saturday, Aug. 29), BSS (Sunday, Sept. 20)
