Wilkes-Barre, PA — Horses trained by Ron Burke, North America’s leading conditioner, surpassed the $20 million mark in 2013 earnings on Wednesday when For All We Know picked up the third place check in a $14,000 mares claiming handicap pace at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.

In addition to the record for purse earnings, Burke’s trainees also have 981 wins thus far in 2013 — another record.
Burke has led all North American trainers in both wins and earnings for four straight years and is poised to run that streak to five when the 2013 season concludes.
Burke won 906 races in 2012, breaking harness racing’s training record of 842 established by his stable in 2010. He saw his horses win $19.69 million in purses in 2012, breaking the record of $18.54 million set by his stable in 2011.
