Bulvurde, TX — Little Brown Jug week started on Wednesday (Sept. 17) in Delaware, OH, and continued the weekend at Hoosier Park and Tioga Downs on Friday (Sept. 19) evening. Saturday (Sept. 20) was all Woodbine Mohawk Park with two 1 million dollar Grade 1 events and a stellar supporting card of Grade 1 and 2 events. The week totaled a record 34 races. Dead heats, placings, and dead heats with placings made for complex accounting.
With Monday being the official first day of autumn all signs point to Lexington and the Red Mile and yearling sales.
The Bluegrass Grade 3 events for 2-year-olds are Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Saturday night we move over to Dayton for a night of Grand Circuit Grade 2 events for 3-year-olds and up.
