Harrington, DE — Enterprise Holdings’ Captain Cowgirl ($3.80, Ross Wolfenden) scored a 1:53.3 win in the $20,000 Mares Open on Tuesday (May 23) at Harrington Raceway.

The 4-year-old Captaintreacherous mare recorded her first win of the season in just her third start with a pocket trip behind pacesetter Shecandance N before emerging down the passing lane for a narrow win. Feeling Sweet closed ground late to finish second while Shecandance N was third.

Captain Cowgirl was a Grand Circuit filly who earned $324,916 as a sophomore last season for trainer Jim King Jr.
