Yonkers, NY – The late Pick-4 and the Pick-5 were not hit on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 29) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, so there will be a $2,535.18 carryover in the late Pick-4 and a $1,741.61 carryover in the Pick-5 in race 5 when racing resumes on Monday (Aug. 31). Both pools will be guaranteed at $30,000.
The guarantees are being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, and free past performances, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The late Pick-4, which begins in race 7 and the Pick-5, which kicks off in race 5, have a $1 minimum and a takeout rate of 20 percent.
As the calendar gets ready to turn to September, MGM Yonkers Raceway will have live racing on Monday/Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday this coming week, then will be open on Monday through Thursday and Saturday the following week, with Friday, Sept. 11, dark in preparation for the MGM Yonkers International Trot program. Post time is 6:45 p.m. (EDT) except on those two Saturday cards, which kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 12, which is MGM Yonkers International Trot Day.
Following the MGM Yonkers International Trot Day card, MGM Yonkers Raceway will shift back to its Monday through Friday live schedule with first race post time each night at 6:45 p.m. (EDT).
