Middlebury, IN — Catalogues are now available for the annual Hoosier Classic Select Yearling Sale in Indianapolis, Ind. Conducted by the Hoosier Classic Sale Company, the auction will be held Friday (Oct. 20) and Saturday (Oct. 21) in the West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Start time for both sessions is 10 a.m.

The Classic Preview will be held Thursday evening (Oct. 19) from 5-8 p.m. for prospective buyers to examine yearlings.

A total of 415 Indiana sired yearlings have been catalogued including yearlings by first crop sires including Capt Midnight, Don’t Let’em, and Breeders Crown champion Fiftydallarbill.

The Breeders Crown eliminations will be contested at nearby Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday and Saturday evening and in conjunction with the Breeders Crown Charity Challenge, breedings to five Indiana stallions for the 2024 season will be auctioned off prior to the start of the Friday session. The stallions, all whose books were full and closed in previous years, include Helpisontheway, Rebuff, Rockin Image, Swan For All, and Temporal Hanover.
