Catch The Fire returns to United States

Blacklick, OH — Even equine stars are sometimes stuck with airplane delays. Last week, Catch The Fire was returning to Ohio from his stallion duties in Australia when he was stuck with a 19 hour plane delay before takeoff. Fortunately, he made it back happy and healthy and has already started his stud duties for the United States.

Catch The Fire rested after a 19 hour airport delay and 22 hour flight. Provided photo.

After breeding 130 mares in the states and 100 mares in Australia in 2023, Catch The Fire is back in Ohio and his book is open for the 2024 breeding season. During his first three years breeding in the Buckeye state, he covered an outstanding book of mares and his first crop created Catch The Cowboy who is the highest priced yearling of either gait to ever sell in the state of Ohio. The connections are expecting another full book from now until June when he will then prepare for his trip back to Australia for their next season.

Standing at Sugar Valley Farms for the stud fee of $6,000, Catch The Fire has proven to be one of the most desirable stallions in Ohio with his first crop in training now to race in 2024. To book your mare to Catch The Fire for this 2024 season, please call Sugar Valley Farms at 740.363.5618.
