Mary Ann Antonacci (DeRosa), 91, beloved widow of Gaetano “Sonny” Antonacci and longtime resident of Somers, Conn., died peacefully on April 27, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.

Charlotte Hamilton, 82, of Letts, Iowa, died April 26, 2023, in her home.

Springfield, IL – Two spring previews will be held for 3-year-old and up Illinois bred horses on May 16th and May 23rd at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The total purse payout for each day will be $30,000. Entry fees for Springfield based trainers will be $50 for purse races and $35 for qualifiers. Entry fees for non-Springfield based trainers will be $65 for purse races and $50 for qualifiers.

afternoon at onGait.com with Circling The Prey, a 3-year-old maiden son of Huntsville, topping the list at $52,000. Chad Kowal of New York was the high bidder.
