John Edmunds, 93, well known in harness racing and loved by many, died Feb. 1, 2023, in Vero Beach, Fla., surrounded by life-long friends.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is adding another financial assistance program to its list of available funds for those seeking to further their education. The new program was created to honor the late Lynn Fortna and is available to any young-at-heart female in harness racing to continue her education and/or expand her knowledge about horses.

John Salvi, 94, of Canonsburg, Pa., died Feb. 3, 2023, at the Greenery Rehabilitation Center near his home.
