Tuesday (May 30) there was a tragic accident at the Fayette County (Ohio) Fairgrounds involving the son of Mark and Candace Winters.

The Catch The Fire syndicate is proud to announce the sire will now serve a book of mares in North America and the Southern Hemisphere. After negotiating with multiple breeding farms in Australia, Catch The Fire will spend his winters down under, breeding at Somerset Farms in Queensland, Australia, under the care of Pete and Chantal McMullen.

James Thomas “Tom” Sweeney Jr., 88, a lifetime resident of Hadley, Mich., died May 24, 2023.
