Gerald Decker, 74, dies
Gerald H. “Jerry” Decker, 74, of Monticello, N.Y., died Jan. 24, 2020, doing what he loved. Formerly of Port Jervis, Mr. Decker was a fixture at Monticello Raceway for 30-plus years as a horseman.

The 5-year-old French trotter Face Time Bourbon was an easy winner of the prestigious Prix d’Amerique at Vincennes on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 26). Parked fourth over behind race favorite Davidson du Pont with Franck Ouvrie, Face Time Bourbon got racing room on the inside going into the stretch and finished strong to win by more than a length in 1:55 (mile rate).
