Three-year-old Iowa champions crowned
Three Iowa-sired 3-year-olds went into Saturday’s (Aug. 25) final Iowa Sires Stakes meet with two wins – Minnie Vinnie, Scramble Camp, and Windy Sue. Two of the three put on another winning performance, and all three earned top divisional honors.
Heavy Handed Hanna, Bankn-On-Emily undefeated Iowa-sired champions
Two fillies finished their Iowa Sires Stakes campaigns undefeated following the final weekend of Iowa-sired racing for 2018 on Saturday (Aug. 25). Pacer Heavy Handed Hanna and trotter Bankn-On-Emily were the only two of 60 2-year-old competitors to stay on top in every start in the three Iowa Sires Stakes meets.
