Rodeo Drive Deo wins 55th Jugette
Rodeo Drive Deo and driver David Miller won the 55th edition of the Jugette, for 3-year-old female pacers, capturing the $280,000 final by 4-1/2 lengths in 1:50.1 on Wednesday at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Odds On Chesapeake finished second, followed by Rose and Odds On Hialeah.
Pre-Jug Grand Circuit events contested
The weekend before Little Brown Jug week started on Thursday (Sept. 11) at Woodbine Mohawk Park with two divisions of the Grade 3 Champlain for 2-year-old trotting colts. On Friday (Sept. 12) at the same venue there were two divisions for the 2-year-old trotting fillies.

This season’s Canadian freshman pacing sensation Beau Jangles and stateside invader Frantic Hanover both etched another win onto their unblemished cards in taking their respective C$40,000 Metro Pace eliminations on Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park while Loua Dipa claimed top billing from the two C$35,000 eliminations for the She’s A Great Lady with a track- and Canadian-record equaling performance.
Twin B Joe Fresh reclaims crown with stakes record in Milton
After back-to-back defeats to Sylvia Hanover and a month on the bench, Twin B Joe Fresh returned to the track a dynamo and set a stakes record while crushing her peers for a repeat win in the C$210,000 Grade 2 Milton Stakes on Saturday (Sept. 13) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Lexus Kody victorious in MGM Yonkers International Trot
Lexus Kody, representing Canada, led throughout and won the 2025 edition of the $1 million Grade 1 MGM Yonkers International Trot on Saturday afternoon at MGM Yonkers Raceway. Lexus Kody, driven by Yannick Gingras for trainer Ron Burke, completed the mile and a quarter in 2:24.4.
Apex, Atlantic Summer win Grade 1 stakes at Hoosier
Apex and driver Dexter Dunn proved to be top dogs in the $368,950 Grade 1 Peter Haughton Memorial, for 2-year-old male trotters, at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday (Sept. 12). The “Win and You’re In” event for the Breeders Crown highlighted a 15-race card with nearly $1.5 million in purses and also featured the $464,400 Grade 1 Jim Doherty Memorial, for freshman female trotters, won by Atlantic Summer by the narrowest of margins on the stakes-filled night.
