The $2.4 million Massachusetts Breeders Stakes returned to Plainridge Park on Tuesday (Oct. 7) with seven events featuring 3-year-old trotters and pacers. The undoubted star of the show was My Degenerate (Muscle Hill-Decadence), who set new stakes and track records and became the fastest 3-year-old trotting gelding ever bred in the Bay State after going gate-to-wire in the lone $75,000 trotting division for colts and geldings, stopping the clock in 1:53.1.

The Ron Burke-trainee notched his fifth win in seven career starts. A He’s Watching colt, he was an open length winner over He’s Webster and Kd’s Song.
