Princess Jackie avoided a pair of early breakers, quarter-poled to the point, and widened her lead throughout to score in Saturday’s (June 290) $158,798 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Shes A Shoe In captured the other division in the event, known as the Meadow Gladys, for freshman filly trotters.
Next Generation next Saturday at Scioto
The $150,000 Next Generation, for Ohio-sired 2-year-olds, will be held next Saturday (July 6) at Eldorado Scioto Downs. The evening card will also play host to the $120,000 Moni Maker and Nadia Lobell, open events for 3-year-old filly trotters and pacers, respectively. All six races will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2, as well as through the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association’s Saturday at the Races.
