The Maryland Standardbred Fund 2-year-olds, both pacers and trotters, roared in to Ocean Downs Monday (July 31) and it was a welcome homecoming for driver Corey Callahan.

In New York Sire Stakes 3-year-old colt trot action Monday afternoon (July 31) at Monticello Raceway, the first division, worth $57,000, had a short field of five with a Ron Burke entry of Chapercraz and Sevecheetah.

For the second time in less than a week, the New York Sire Stakes will head to Batavia Downs on Tuesday (Aug. 1) with one seven-horse field and this time featuring 2-year-old male pacers who will go behind the gate to vie for a purse of $106,300.
