Breakfast With The Babies at the Meadowlands finally caught a less-than-perfect Saturday morning (July 6) after an overnight deluge, but the track remained in good shape. The skies were clearing, but the humidity was high and temperatures started out around 80 degrees and rising. There was no wind.

Also winning $10,000 divisions in the event for freshman colt and gelding trotters were LT Loverboy, Battle Hill and Twofiftychamp, who broke his maiden in a stake-fastest 1:57.
