In the second $25,000 elimination for freshman pacing females, 1-5 favorite Geocentric with Tim Tetrick aboard nailed down her ninth consecutive win on Friday (Oct. 20) for trainer Brian Brown in 1:51 for owners Leeman, Keith, Stambaugh and Sbrocco at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Geocentric pushed her career earnings to $549,251 with the win.

Massive Lighting came off an impressive victory in his last outing and was totally overlooked as the longest shot in the race at 40-1, yet he rallied late to take a second straight victory.
Virginia Breeder’s 2-year-old prep races set for this weekend
Two-year-old pacers and trotters of both sexes will take center stage this weekend at Shenandoah Downs as the final round of Virginia Breeder’s prep and elimination races take place in advance of the $702,200 “Day of Champions” card on Sunday (Oct, 29). Prep races are slated Saturday in the colt/gelding trot and Sunday in the filly and colt/gelding pace while a pair of elimination races will occur Saturday in the filly trot.
