With the air quality index for Milton currently measuring at ‘High Risk,’ Woodbine has canceled Friday morning’s qualifiers at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

This Saturday (July 1), the stakes season turns up the volume a little more at The Meadowlands with four events, one of which will honor Dave Brower, the longtime Big M TV personality whose death shocked the harness racing world last October.

With today’s air quality index for Milton forecasted to be at ‘Moderate Risk’ by Environment Canada, and consistent with the AGCO’s air quality guidelines, Woodbine Entertainment will be proceeding with live racing Thursday evening (June 29) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the declining air quality, MGM Northfield Park has canceled its live racing program for Wednesday (June 28).
