Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office has announced the addition of two C$75,000 Free-For-All events to the rich Mohawk Million card on Saturday (Sept. 23).

When live racing resumes on Thursday night (Sept. 14) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, there will be a $3,490 carryover and a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-5 after the wager was not hit on Tuesday night’s (Sept. 12) card.

The 2023 Cumberland Run meet is only a little over a month away. This year’s meet will be held at Cumberland Run located in Corbin, Ky.

All Kentucky Sire Stakes finals for the Championship, Commonwealth and Golden Rod series will be drawn Wednesday (Sept. 13) at 11 a.m. (EDT).

Due to flooding in the area, Monday night’s (Sept. 11) program at MGM Yonkers Raceway has been canceled.

The qualifying races scheduled for Tuesday (Sept. 12) have been postponed until Wednesday (Sept. 13) at 11:00 a.m. The track will also be open for training from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Due to heavy rain that moved through Plainville once again on Monday (Sept. 11) that had an adverse impact on the track, racing at Plainridge Park was canceled after the first race for the safety of all involved. Live racing will resume at Plainridge on Tuesday (Sept. 12) with post time at 2 p.m.

All of the numbers are in, and betting on Hambletonian Day (Aug. 5) at The Meadowlands was huge, to say the least, coming close to the all-time record.

Greg The Leg’s 31-1 upset in the final race on Thursday’s (Sept. 7) program at MGM Yonkers Raceway caused the $5 minimum “Lucky” Pick-5 wager not to be hit for a second straight night. As a result, Saturday afternoon’s (Sept. 9) MGM Yonkers International Trot card will now include a carryover in excess of $124,000, plus $15,000 worth of seed money from the SOA of New York, for a total starting pot of over $139,000 in the sequence.
