When live racing resumes on Wednesday night (Oct. 9) at MGM Northfield Park, fans will be treated to an astonishing opportunity in the Pick-5. On Tuesday night (Oct. 8) the Pick-5 was challenging for the second night in a row, and it spiraled a carryover of $18,419 over to the Wednesday program.

This year’s Breeders Crown finals are Oct. 25 and 26 at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

The race office at MGM Northfield Park reminds horsemen racing in the Ohio Scarlet and Gray Championships this weekend of detention guidelines that will be enforced.

MGM Northfield Park is proud to play host to the Ohio Sires Stakes Scarlett and Gray Championships on Saturday (Oct. 12) and Sunday (Oct. 13). Adding to the pomp and circumstance of both nights will be the addition of Jessica and Jenna Otten to the broadcast team. The pair will join Michael Carter and Kenny Livengood to provide analysis for each of the championship races.

Though the 132nd edition of the famed Kentucky Futurity headlines the Sunday finale at The Red Mile, a $75,000 Guaranteed Pick-6 Pool will kick off the festivities as that 20 cent offering has a $21,470 double carryover going into the program.

On Sunday (Oct. 6) The Red Mile celebrates the culmination of the famed one-mile oval’s 150th anniversary season by placing itself upon on the network television scene in a new agreement with the Fox Sports family in conjunction with the New York Racing Association (NYRA). The iconic red clay facility, where many of harness racing’s historic moments have transpired, will enter the annals of the sport yet again by presenting the Kentucky Futurity, the final jewel in the Trotting Triple Crown, to households across the country for the first time since 1987 when the Breeders Crown was on ESPN.

The Red Mile is proud to announce that Kentucky-native artist Tyler Robertson will create the official artwork for the 132nd Kentucky Futurity, held during the celebration of The Red Mile’s 150th racing season.
