Qualifiers for Wednesday morning (July 17) at The Red Mile have been canceled due to rain.

Tuesday night’s (July 16) Pick-5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway started with horses at odds of 10-1, 46-1 and 13-1 winning, and that led to the wager not being hit. As a result, when racing resumes on Thursday (July 18), there will be a $7,575.22 carryover and a $20,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence.

Officials at Ocean Downs have pushed Wednesday’s (July 17) races back 40 minutes in anticipation of continued extreme heat on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Due to extreme heat, first post time for the Tuesday (July 16) card of harness racing at Ocean Downs has been pushed back to 7:45 p.m.

Due to the heat advisory posted for Plainville, Mass., for Tuesday (July 16), post time at Plainridge Park has been pushed back to 5 p.m., from the originally scheduled 4 p.m., to facilitate starting the races after the expected peak temperatures of the day.

The Meadows’ Race Office would like to remind horsemen that the entry box for Saturday’s Delvin Miller Adios Pace will close this Wednesday (July 17) at 9 a.m. (EDT).
