Grove City, OH – Due to storm damage and additional expected storms, the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana, OH, is closed to the general public Tuesday (Aug. 11), and harness racing has been canceled.
The stake races only will be rescheduled for noon on Wednesday (Aug. 12). The overnight races 3, 8, 10 and 14 are canceled and will not be rescheduled.
At this time, the fairgrounds are expected to reopen fully on Wednesday for business as usual. There will be two race cards with start times of noon and 6 p.m. featuring only 2-year-old and 3-year-old stakes races. There will be no overnights, Signature Series, or Terry Holton Youth Series races.
