Check Six moves to Minnesota

Check Six (Somebeachsomewhere-Southwind Vanna-Artsplace) will become one of the richest stallions to ever stand in Minnesota. A winner of $1.6 million, with a mark of 1:48.1, Check Six’s owner Dr. Ken Rucker believes his newest purchase has plenty to add to the current Minnesota stallion lineup.

Check Six is a Pennsylvania Sire Stakes champion, winner of the $325,000 Dan Patch, $200,000 Monument Circle, and Breeders Crown elimination, as well as a standout in the Ron Burke barn.

Not only was he an incredible racehorse, but Check Six has proved he’s already passing on that talent to his progeny. With just two crops of racing age, he’s already produced Six Again p,3,1:50.4s, Ponda Executive p,3,1:50.4s, Stat That p,2,1:51.4s, and many more extremely fast youngsters, something that bodes very well for Minnesota breeders looking to excel in the lucrative 2- and 3-year-old Minnesota-bred races.

Check Six is standing at Bluff Country Equine for a fee of $2,000. Follow his Facebook page for more information and to keep up to date with everything Check Six.
