Cheers! That Ole Bar Stool takes Harrington feature

Harrington, DE – Clark Stables and Tina Clark’s That Ole Bar Stool ($7.20, Corey Callahan) was a 1:56.1 winner in the $20,000 Open Trot Tuesday (Aug. 29) at Harrington Raceway.

The 4-year-old Bar Hopping gelding sat behind pacesetter Manatlas, last week’s winner, throughout the mile before surging by in deep stretch for his third win of the year. A beaten favorite in his last start, That Ole Bar Stool atoned for that effort in achieving his 11th career win for trainer Bobby Clark.

Allan Davis and trainer Jim King Jr. each won two of the first four races on the 15-race card. Davis had three wins on the card, including a pair for his son, trainer Tyler Davis. Trainer Clyde Francis, owner George Teague Jr. and driver Montrell Teague also teamed up for a double with a pair of Lather Up-sired 2-year-olds., Hustle Up ($2.60) and It’sonlyupfromhere ($2.10). Francis also won with Shear Magic ($8.60, Tony Morgan) to complete a training triple. Ross Wolfenden had three wins on the card, while leading trainer Joe Columbo had a double.

Corey Callahan had a driving double.
