Nichols, NY – City Of Hope (Ridge Warren) and Alabama Hannah (Jim Pantaleano) take the co-features at Tioga Downs on Saturday (July 5).
City Of Hope ($9,20) captures the featured $13,000 trot

Sevenshotsobourbon (Tom Merton) was first to the quarter in :27.1. Kingpin Hanover (Tyler Miller) came first-up to challenge as they headed to the clubhouse turn but Sevenshotsobourbon maintained the lead to the half in :57.3 and was first to three-quarters in 1:25.2.
As they reached the stretch City Of Hope slid through an opening on the inside and got past second place finisher Sevenshotsobourbon to win in 1:54.3. Enola (Mike Merton) finished third.
City Of Hope is a 5-year-old gelding by Mets Hall. He is owned by Phillip Hale and trainer David Dewhurst. It was his fifth win this season. He has now reached the winner’s circle for the 28th time in his career.
Alabama Hannah ($4.80) wins the featured $13,000 fillies & mares’ pace
Elegant A (Tyler Miller) controlled all the early fractions. She was first to the quarter in :26,4, she led to the half in :55.4, and to three-quarters in 1:23.4.
Alabama Hannah popped out of the pocket and came flying down the lane to steal the win in 1:51.3.
Elegant A had to settle for second best. Fox Valley Leah (Todd Warren) finished third.
Alabama Hannah is a 5-year-old mare by Huntsville. She is owned by Jeffrey Nanna and trained by Mike Deters. It was her fourth win of 2025. She now has 15 career victories.
Tyler Miller and Jim Pantaleano had driving triples. Jenny Melander had a training triple.
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Sunday (July 6) with a post time of 1 p.m.
