Dover, DE — Driver Michael Cole and trainer Joe Columbo teamed up to sweep Monday’s (Nov. 2) co-featured $12,500 conditioned trots at Bally’s Dover en route to a three-win performance together on the opening program of the central Delaware harness racing venue’s 83-night 2026-27 stand.

The tandem took the first co-feature with Raucous, who used a first-over push up the backstretch to eclipse early pacesetter Crazy For Fru (driven by Russell Foster) in upper stretch and win by a widening 2-1/4 lengths in a lifetime best 1:54.2. Shoestrings (Corey Callahan) finished third.
Raucous, a 3-year-old Muscle Mass-Ms Mischief Maker colt, pad $14.20 to win in his debut effort for Cole, Columbo, and owner George & Tina Dennis Racing.
Cole and Columbo completed their sweep of the featured trots with Bluebird Atomic ($3), a sophomore Swan For All-Highland Hills gelding who posted his second win in three starts for owners George Dennis and T Dennz Racing when he rolled to a 5-length, 1:55.2 score over Sly Help (Montrell Teague) and Ballroom Bash (Art Stafford Jr.).
The pair’s other winner on the 15-race card was D A Home Stretch ($5.20), who emerged from just off the front flight to post a seasonal-best 1:51 clocking in a mid-level conditioned pace.
Jamie Sullivan also scored a training hat trick, partnering with driver Montrell Teague to win with Bulldog Mack ($3.40, 1:53.4) and Beef N Cheddar ($5, 1:52.4), and with Russell Foster with Gone With The Wine ($6.60, 1:56).
Live racing returns to Bally’s Dover on Tuesday (Nov. 3); first post for the 13-race card is 4:30 p.m. (EST).
