Middletown, NY — The 2024 Goshen Yearling Sale will be held at 12 noon on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Mark Ford Training Center, in Middletown, N.Y., and the roster of yearlings being offered this year are currently being looked over by many interested parties in person, on video and in the catalog. However, no one has observed these horses closer than the respective managers of each farm. Here are some opinions they have offered about who stands out to them from their consignments.
Steve Jones – Cameo Hills Farm
Cameo Hills will have the largest consignment (43 total) we have ever sold at Goshen, both from the farm and as agent. We have something to offer every buyer including 25 New York-breds, 12 New Jersey-breds and six Pennsylvania-breds.
We are also selling 19 New York-bred pacers: 10 by Huntsville, seven by So Surreal, one American Ideal and one Courtly Choice. We also have six New York-bred trotters, led by the outstanding colt (Hip #50) Oppenheimer.
