Cumberland qualifiers to air on RTN

Cumberland, ME — First Tracks Cumberland has announced that its initial qualifying races, slated for Saturday, April 8, will be broadcast live on the Racetrack Television Network (RTN). The action starts at 11 a.m. (EDT).

Horsemen should declare by 9 a.m. on Friday, April 7. Horses that have a clean line from Nov. 15, 2022, or after are not required to qualify through the first three weekends of racing (until April 29). The 45-day rule goes back into effect beginning with the draw for the May 5 program.

In addition to the live RTN broadcast, qualifiers will also be streamed on the First Tracks Cumberland website.

First Tracks Cumberland will remain on RTN channel 9747 this season. More information is available on the RTN website.

Incoming race secretary Rob Pennington’s condition sheet includes two ‘Spring Fling’ late closing series, which will begin on April 21 and 22. The Track Master Rating conditioned events race for final purses of $15,000 and $20,000 the following weekend. Series conditions are available here.
