Corbin, KY — The 2025 Cumberland Run meet will begin Saturday, Oct. 11, and continue through Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Racing will be conducted Saturday through Tuesday the first two weeks of the meet and Sunday through Tuesday the last two weeks.
There will be a five-day box each week with the entry box closing at 9 a.m. (Mondays may be slightly different due to qualifiers). Driver changes will be due by 10 a.m. the day after each draw.
Anyone wanting to race opening week must be qualified before Monday, Oct. 6, by 9 a.m. The first qualifier at Cumberland Run will be on Saturday, Oct. 11. After that, qualifiers will be on Mondays, Oct. 13, 20 and 27. The entry box will close the day before each qualifier at 9:00 a.m.
Racing will begin each day at 1 p.m. Per the Kentucky Harness Horsemen’s Association, Kentucky preference will be granted to trainers who made more than 50% of their starts in Kentucky, as well as horses who are 100% Kentucky-owned or trained by a trainer who permanently lives in Kentucky.
