Nichols, NY – Dark Eclipse N (Ridge Warren) captured the featured $11,000 fillies & mares’ pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (Aug. 25).

Fashionattiffanys led to the quarter in :27.2. She used a :28.2 second quarter to be first to the half in :55.4. Fashionattiffanys was still in front to three-quarters getting there first in 1:23.2.

As they made the turn for home Dark Eclipse N ($5.80) came flying out of the pocket and blew right on by and won easily in a lifetime best of 1:51.3. Fashionattiffanys had to settle for second. Sweet Loving (Mike Merton) finished third.

Dark Eclipse N is a 5-year-old mare by A Rocknroll Dance. She is owned by Kim Zabielski and trained by Byron Pineda. It was her fifth win this season and her sixth career victory.

Ridge Warren and Corey Braden had driving doubles.
