Darke County Fair to host eight races Wednesday night

Greenville, OH – On Wednesday evening (Aug. 23), the Darke County Fair will host an overnight card with eight races. Post time will be immediately following the Veteran’s Program at approximately 7:30 p.m.

To close out the meet on Thursday, Aug. 24, 14 races are on the schedule.  Post time has been moved up to 5:30 p.m. to accommodate these exciting races.

That card features the Gene Riegle Memorial and the Arnie Almahurst Trot. There will also be eight splits of the Parshall Memorial Open Stakes. Continuing the tradition that started here in Greenville, the Annie Oakley Shoot Out features a full field of eight.

In addition, there will be two races, one on the pace the other on the trot, for The Great Lake Amateur Driving Association.

The closing night will also feature a commemorative Riegle Memorial Series glass that will be available in the grandstand near the pari-mutuel windows.
