Dayton, OH – Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway hosted a pair of co-featured $20,000 conditioned claiming paces during it’s 14-race Friday night (Oct. 30) card.

Hayhayit’sfrineigh and driver Kayne Kauffman took the first division thanks to perfect pocket ride. Jeremy Smith steered Currys Flurry to a gate-to-wire victory in the second division. Both miles were in an identical 1:51.3.
Leaving alertly from post five, Hayhayit’sfrineigh secured command through an opening quarter in :26.3 before yielding to the heavily favored Boomerang (Chris Page) approaching the half. Boomerang, sent off at 1-5, carved out middle fractions of :55.0 and 1:23.3 while Hayhayit’sfrineigh enjoyed a pocket trip.
Headed to the three-quarters, King Of Metal As (Luke Hanners) pealed of the dying cover from Shadow Cove (Tyler Smith) and used a three-wide move around the final turn and passing the three-quarters in 1:23.3.
King Of Metal As stuck a head in front of the tiring Boomerang at the top of the stretch, but Hayhayit’sfrineigh was pulled out of the pocket and outsprinted his rivals.
The two-length victory in 1:51.3 established a new lifetime mark for the 4-year-old gelded son of Downbytheseaside.
King Of Metal As was second and Boomerang held on for third.
Hayhayit’sfrineigh has won three straight for co-owners, Dr. Jill Dentel and trainer James Ehrsam.
In the second division, the heavily favored Currys Flurry gutted out a half-length win over He’s A Tomcat (Chris Page).
Currys Flurry blasted from post three outstepping the rail sitting Shining Moment (Trevor Smith) and immediately secured command.

Cruiser With Class (Luke Hanners) found himself parked on the outside and raced neck and neck with Currys Flurry the whole mile, carving out fractions of :26.4, :54.3 and 1:23.
The 4-year-old son of Papi Rob Hanover used a :28.3 final panel to hold off a late rally from He’s A Tomkat and Shining Moment.
Owned by Bob Carsey and trained by Walter Haynes, Jr., Currys Flurry secured his seventh of the season and third in a row.
Driver Luke Hanners led all reinsmen with four wins; Chris Page had a triple.
Dayton Raceway will conclude its race week Saturday afternoon (Oct. 31).
