Dontforgetlittlman is new winner in Miami Valley’s top trot

Lebanon, OH — Dontforgetlittlman pulled a mild upset in the $28,000 Open Trot at Miami Valley on Wednesday (March 8).

Driver Dan Noble left with alacrity when the wings folded and fronted the field from start to finish, posting fractions of :27.3, :57 and 1:25.1 before tripping the final beam in 1:53.2 — a lifetime best.

The 5-year-old son of Dontyouforgetit entered the feature race fray off four consecutive runner-up finishes. He surpassed the $300,000 earninng plateau with the victory, the 19th of his career out of 66 lifetime tries. The Christi Noble trainee, owned by Brian Witt, paid $12 to his faithful. Combined with runner-up The Mighty Hill (Trevor Smith) the exacta kicked back $56.20. Sly Little Fox (Jordan Ross) completed the trifecta.

In a $25,000 Open II Trot, Flemsteen (Trevor Smith) held off Fawn De Touch (Tony Hall) by a half-length in 1:54.2. Millionaire Dayson (Chris Page), now age 10, earned third money. Co-owner Chris Beaver conditions the winning 5-year-old by Explosive Matter for his partners, R.B.H. Ventures and Bill Manes.
