London, ON — The second edition of the London Classic Yearling Sale is set to take place on Oct. 17-18 at the Western Fair District Agriplex and entries are now being accepted.

The first edition of the LCYS saw 186 yearlings sell for a combined total of more than C$6.6 million, producing a sale average of C$36,000. The sale topper was the Resolve trotting colt Heist Seelster who sold for C$165,000.

This year’s sale roster will be another strong one and will be bolstered by the addition of yearling offerings from both Winbak Farm of Canada and Stonebridge Farm in addition to the already outstanding group of consignors that are expected.

Entry applications are now available and can be submitted online at www.londonclassic.ca. Entries will close on April 22.
