Nichols, NY — Fashion Terror (Braxten Boyd) took the featured $10,000 fillies and mares pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (May 9).
Sweet Carollou (Tyler Miller) led to the quarter in :28.1. Fashion Terror ($2.70) took over control with a circuit to go and was first to the half in :56.1. American Hope (Jim Taggart Jr.) was first to make a move going first-over down the backstretch. Fashion Terror then widened the lead and led to three-quarters in 1:24.2.
As they reached the stretch, second-place finisher American Hope started to close the gap but Fashion Terror dug in and won in 1:54.1. Sweet Carollou settled for third best.

Fashion Terror is a 3-year-old filly by Huntsville. She is owned by All Star Racing Inc. and trained by Mark Ford. It was her second win this season. She now has six career victories.
Last year’s leading driver, Braxten Boyd, had a driving double. Paul Long had a training double.
