Field set for Meadows Charity Handicapping Challenge

Washington, PA – The field is set for The Meadows Handicapping Challenge for Charity, which will take place next Friday (Nov. 24). Nine top handicappers will be competing against one another to benefit their favorite charities during The Meadows’ race card that day.

Each will be required to place a $20 (mythical) wager on 10 Meadows races, with the top four finishers in (mythical) money won will win actual cash for their charities. Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will be putting up a “purse” of $2,000. The first-place finisher will earn a $1,000 donation, followed by $500 for second, $300 for third, and $200 for fourth.

Selections from all nine challengers will be shown on The Meadows’ simulcast show throughout the afternoon on Friday. The contest will take place in races two through 12, with each competitor permitted to skip one of the 11 races.
