Edgerton, OH — The Defiance County (Ohio) Area Horsemen’s Association is in the final week of its silent auction for free breedings. They have two Ohio pacing stallions, two Ohio trotting stallions, and one Indiana pacing stallion in the auction.
The Ohio pacing stallions are Thinkbig Dreambig (Bettor’s Delight-Extreme Dream) and Well Said (Western Hanover-Must See). Thinkbig Dreambig resides at Bear Creek Stables of Middlefield, Ohio, while Well Said stands at Sugar Valley Farm of Delaware, Ohio.

The Indiana pacing stallion is Best In Show (Bettor’s Delight-Put On A Show). Best In Show takes up residence at Premier Acres of Middlebury, Ind.
Bids on all stallions close at 5 p.m. on Friday (March 28). At that time, the person with the second-highest bid will have the opportunity to raise his or her bid. The bidding will continue between the two highest bidders until one drops out.
The winning bidder on each stallion must pay the Defiance County Area Horsemen’s Association 10 percent of the winning bid or $100, whichever is greater, before the mare is bred. The winning bidder must pay the Association the balance of the winning bid when the mare foals in 2026.
Bids on all stallions may be phoned to Bill Peters at 419.630.5952 or e-mailed to trudypeters@metalink.net.
Any breedings not receiving successful bids by 5 p.m. on March 28 may still be available after that date.
