Caen, France — On Tuesday (Oct. 6), the colt Quantum Mobility, by Tactical Landing out of the French mare Bronza, was sold at auction in Caen, in France’s Normandy region, for 36,000 euros.
Quantum Mobility is the first French-registered foal by Tactical Landing to be sold at a public auction.
In 2025 and 2026, the closed French studbook has been opened to allow 60 French mares each year to be bred to Tactical Landing, with their offspring eligible for registration in the French studbook.
This year, the first French foals by Tactical Landing were born — 29 in all.
Quantum Mobility, bred by Ukrainian breeder Oleksandr Vorobiy, sold for 36,000 euros, which was the top price at the foal auction, at which 123 foals sold for an average of 5,601 euros.
