Anderson, IN – A pair of $49,000 divisions of Indiana Sire Stakes for sophomore trotting fillies headlined the 14-race program at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Wednesday (June 11), seeing the reigning champion For Dayze go back-to-back and Bluebird Kazoom headlining a big night for the driver and trainer combination of Jordan Ross and Henry Graber Jr.

Starting out of the gate in post three as the 7-5 second choice, For Dayze and driver John De Long patiently sat back in fourth during the early stages. Meanwhile, Dial Nine One One (Jordan Ross) took the opportunity, first out in front to lead the six-horse field to the first quarter turn in :28.3.
At the halfway mark, Honeymoon (Trace Tetrick) bounced to the outside shuffling past Dial Nine One One to reach the half mile in :56.3. Moving up the ranks, For Dayze followed by Help Cum Laude (Atlee Bender) in her draft led the charge in the outflow while Honeymoon looked to get separation from the favorites on the far turn.
Honeymoon raced three lengths clear to three-quarters in 1:24.4 while For Dayze continued her charge into third with Dial Nine One One being her next target. Into the homestretch, For Dayze glided past Dial Nine One One with her sights set on the leader Honeymoon.
Nearing the wire, For Dayze advanced along the right side of Honeymoon looking to slug it out down the stretch. Punching the accelerator at the right time, For Dayze surged late to nail the upset minded Honeymoon by a neck on the wire in a career best 1:53.1 as Dial Nine One One held onto third.

Earlier in the card, Bluebird Kazoom driven by Jordan Ross for trainer Henry Graber Jr. took care of business in the $49,000 first division.
Flying out the gate up the middle in post five, Bluebird Kazoom had her eyes set of the lead before Pure Love (Bender) surged from the outside to beat Bluebird Kazoom to the rail to set the tempo to the quarter in :27.4. Not willing to relinquish the lead for too long, Bluebird Kazoom zoomed along the outside to take the lead from Pure Love meeting the halfway point in :56.2 to lead the five-horse field.
At the three-quarter pole in 1:25.4, Bluebird Kazoom began extending her lead followed by Pure Love, Expressive Gal (Kyle Wilfong) and Judge Lily (Kevin Lambright) while Make It Spicy (Trace Tetrick) went on a break. Motoring down the stretch, the lead continued to expand for Bluebird Kazoom as she cruised to the wire uncontested in 1:54. Expressive Gal got up for second, while Pure Love settled for third.
