Fort Knox to stand in Minnesota

Prior Lake, MN — Fort Knox (American Ideal-The Art Museum) will stand in Minnesota for the 2023 breeding season.

As a 2-year-old, he took a mark of Q1:53 and was race-timed in 1:50.2. At 3, Fort Knox lowered his mark to 1:51.2, finally setting a lifetime mark at 6 of 1:50 and accumulating $261,256 before being retired to the breeding shed.

Fort Knox is a half-brother to Artspeak. He’s out of a dam whose foals’ average lifetime mark is 1:51.2 and they average $283,008 lifetime. From nine foals, eight have raced.

Fort Knox has been standing in Illinois and has just two crops of racing age. In his first crop, 70 percent of his foals made it to the races, 100 percent of those were money-earners, and they’ve already amassed almost $350,000. Many of his 2-year-olds have already been timed in 1:53.

Fort Knox is standing at Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital in Prior Lake, Minn., for a fee of $2,000. If you’re interested in breeding to him, call 952.435.8387.
