Paris – Nebraska de Ginier, a three-year-old French gelding, is now Europe’s fastest three-year-old after winning the Prix Henri Cravoisier over the mile at Enghien in Paris in 1:51.4 — improving both the race record and the French record for 3-year-olds of 1:52.1, set by Lovino Bello in 2024.
Nebraska de Ginier is trained by Alexandre Boisson and has gone from victory to victory this year. This was his seventh start in 2026, and he remains undefeated.
Unfortunately, as a gelding he is ineligible to compete in the classic French age-group races.
Anthony Barrier was in the bike behind Nebraska de Ginier, whose sire is Golden Bridge, a son of Ready Cash.
Ready Cash is also the sire of Nuevo Cash, who finished second to Nebraska de Ginier, beaten by half a length.
On the same race card, the Prix de Milan over 1 5/16 miles for 4- year old trotters was won by Mack de Blary, sired by Face Time Bourbon and driven by Théo Duvaldestin, in 1:54.4.
Each of the two races carried a first prize of €40,500.
The race day also featured the first race for two-year-olds. The Prix de la Porte des Lilas over 1 3/8 miles was restricted to fillies and was won convincingly by Ouija Bella, sired by Village Mystic, with Éric Raffin in the sulky. The winning time was 2:03.4 as a mile rate.
In Sweden, Loxahatchee (Greenshoe—Hannelore Hanover) won with his trainer Daniel Wäjersten at Axevalla in 1:52.2f.
Loxahatchee, bred at Hanover Shoe Farm and sold under the name Holy Grail Hanover for $435,000, has developed nicely with Wäjersten. This year alone, he has won three of eight starts and earned $85,000.
