French-owned Mister Hercules wins Elitlopp invite

Gävle, Sweden — Mister Hercules, a 6-year-old trotter owned by Le Trot president Jean-Pierre Barjon, was a heroic winner in the one-mile HKH Prins Daniels race at Gävle, north of Stockholm, Saturday afternoon (May 20) for Örjan Kihlström in 1.52.1 by a short head over Click Bait with Per Lennartsson.

Mister Hercules is trained by Daniel Redén, and has been invited to join stablemates Don Fanucci Zet and Hail Mary in the Elitlopp. Redén has to make a decision before noon Sweden time Sunday (May 21). The field for the two eliminations will be drawn Sunday afternoon.

After today’s victory, which was worth $37,500, the son of Trixton now has lifetime earnings of $615,000.
