French Wine is now a millionaire

Anderson, IN — The fastest 3-year-old trotter of 2023 is now harness racing’s newest millionaire. French Wine 3,1:50 ($1,007,194) trotted his last career start Friday (Nov. 24) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in the Thanksgiving Classic.

Hard used from the outside post through a first quarter of :27.1, French Wine set the tempo throughout with Breeeders Crown elimination winner Helpfirstedition on his back. French Wine showed off his gameness and beautiful gait through the entire length of the Hoosier stretch only to lose by a scant nose to the pocket sitter with an eye-catching last quarter of :26.2 while pushing his career earnings over the $1 million mark. From 28 lifetime starts French Wine was on the board in 78 percent of them with eight wins, seven second place finishes and seven third place finishes while competing against the best colts of his year.

Owned by Daniel Plouffe, Jean Christophe Plouffe, One Legend Stable and Andy Miller Stable, trained by Julie Miller and driven by Andy Miller, the extremely handsome and regally bred colt is now headed to the stallion barn at Winterwood Farm in Bellville, Ohio under the management of Dr. J Stallion Management.

French Wine will stand for an initial service fee of $6,000 and shares are available for purchase. Please call or email Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky at 717.578.7395 or drj@drjstallionmanagement.com for more information.
