Columbus, OH – Manos Cito has started a GoFundMe fundraising campaign for his brother, Carl Cito Jr., who is battling Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Carl Cito, a New Jersey native and resident, won more than 1,000 races as a driver and 600 races as a trainer during his career. He last drove in 2019. His last year training was 2022.
Manos Cito wrote, in part, “Most of you know him as ‘Captain Carl.’ Since March 2019, Carl has been running a very different kind of race – one without cheering crowds or a finish line. He has been quietly and courageously battling Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma, which began in his kidney and has since spread to other parts of his body.”
