When the dust settled, Gallic Beach, a 12-year-old son of Somebeachsomewhere, bested the group in wire-to-wire fashion in a final time of 1:54.1.

Gallic Beach, owned by Robbins Nest Farm, Inc., and trained exclusively by John Wilkerson since Nov. 2015, returned $8.40 to win and brought his lifetime earnings to just under $400,000 with the victory. Corey Callahan drove the winner to cap a five-win evening.
