Global Believer S powers to victory at Bally’s Dover

Dover, DE – Global Believer S made a believer of a field of quality trotters at Bally’s Dover and won back-to-back on Tuesday night (Dec. 19).

I Get It left quickest off the gate and forced seats to JL Cruze, Certify, and the 4/5 betting favorite Global Believer S. trotting to the quarter. I Get It reached the opening quarter in :28.2. Global Believer S who left from post 8, settled in fourth at the quarter then brushed for the lead passing the stands. Global Believer S took control of the race and reached the half in :57.1

Driver Tim Tetrick and Global Believer S continued on an uncontested lead and buzzed the three quarters in 1:25.2, a :28.1 third-quarter. Fifty Ways started his journey down the backstretch first-over in pursuit of the pacesetter Global Believer S. Black Hope followed second-over on the rim, however those bids stalled.

Global Believer S held his lead into the stretch. I Get It left the pocket and charged late as did Certify. Global Believer S held on and won by a neck in 1:54.3. He paid $3.40 for the win.

Global Believer S ( Donato Hanover) is owned by Engblom Stable LLC and Kasper Foget both from NJ. He is trained by Per Engblom. Tim Tetrick drove and it was his fourth winner of the night. I Get It finished second and Certify picked up the show spot.

Corey Callahan secured three driving wins on the night. Corey Callahan recorded a milestone winning his 7,500 lifetime catch driving win last week.

The feature race on Wednesday (Dec. 20) is the Mares Open Handicap Pace featuring Feeling Sweet and Majorica N
There is a $1,454 Pentafecta carryover to Wednesday night’s card.

Live racing at Bally’s Dover will conclude during the Christmas holiday from Monday December 25th thru Thursday December 28th. Live harness racing will return on Monday, January 1, 2024.
