Graduate Series starts at Mohawk June 3

East Rutherford, NJ – The 2023 Graduate Series will get underway at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (June 3) as a part of a stakes-laden card that will include the Somebeachsomewhere 3-year-old pacing prep for the upcoming North America Cup and leg #2 of the Miss Versatility for trotting mares.

Scheduled slightly later this year to avoid conflict with several other 4-year-old stakes and still reach completion before the Grand Circuit for older pacers gets rolling, the Graduate should round off what has become a substantial transition from age restricted to all age stakes.

Following the June 3 opener, the series moves to The Meadowlands on June 16 and 24 for the second and third legs leading into the finals on Saturday, July 8 as part of the Meadowlands Pace elimination card.

Purses for the Graduate Series remain at $75,000 ($50,000 divided) guaranteed for the three legs and $250,000 estimated final purses.

Entries for the Mohawk leg will be taken by their racing office. Further information on entering may be found on the web. Graduate eligibles may be found here. (Disregard June 1 race date for leg 1 of the trot, that is incorrect).
