Herecomescharlie B impressive at Northville Friday

Northville, MI — Herecomescharlie B and breeder-owner-trainer-driver Dan Venier cruised to victory in the Open Trot Friday night (Sept. 29) at Northville Downs, taking the mile in 1:56. Also on the night, Cruisin Thru Time and trainer-driver Kody Massey captured the Mares Open Pace in 1:56.

In the Open Trot, Herecomescharlie B launched to the front off of the car and never looked back, putting up fractions of :27.4, :58 and 1:27.2, before stopping the timer in an eye-popping 1:56, just three-fifths of a second off of the track record for an older trotting gelding and winning by 10-1/2 lengths. I Get It and Bob Rowland closed well for second; Stoneborough hung on for third.
