Nichols, NY — Hestherightstuff (Marcus Miller) captured the $11,000 featured pace on Sunday (August 13) at Tioga Downs.

Machiatto A (Ridge Warren) grabbed the early lead but Hestherightstuff ($3.50) went on by just before hitting the quarter first in :27.3.  He used a :28 quarter to be first to the half in :55.3.  Western Beachboy (Corey Braden) came first-up going down the backstretch and challenged for the lead.  Hestherightstuff was first to three-quarters in 1:23.4.

As they made the turn for home Hestherightstuff shook off Western Beachboy and had to brace for the challenge from Machiatto A and Vulcan Star N (Tyler Miller).  Hestherightstuff dug in and won in 1:52.2.  Michiatto A was second best.  Vulcan Star N finished third.

Hestherightstuff is a 6-year-old gelding by American Ideal.  He is owned and trained by Gary Levine.  It was fifth win this season.  He now has 18 career victories.

Marcus Miller had a natural hat trick.  He got his other wins with trainer Erv Miller finishing first with Anotherstatement A and Orlando Blue A.
